Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Database instances (11g/12c/19c).
- Monitor and tune database performance (SQL tuning, indexing, partitioning).
- Perform regular backups and restores using RMAN/Data Pump.
- Manage Oracle Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Apply patches, upgrades, and security fixes.
- Implement and manage database security (users, roles, privileges).
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and coordinate with development teams.
- Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience.
- Strong skills in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with Oracle Backup & Recovery strategies (RMAN/Data Pump).
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Oracle databases and Data Guard.
- Familiarity with on-prem Oracle databases.
- Knowledge of shell scripting for automation.
