Job Profile


  • Collect, clean, and process large and complex economic, financial, and policy-related datasets.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models using statistical and machine learning techniques
  • Apply time series analysis, regression, and predictive modeling to assess macroeconomic trends.
  • Collaborate with economists and policy teams to design quantitative research frameworks.
  • Create dashboards, data pipelines, and visualizations to communicate insights clearly.
  • Support the preparation of technical papers, policy notes, and presentations through robust data-driven analysis.
  • Stay updated with emerging tools, techniques, and best practices in data science and econometrics.


Applicant Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in data science, quantitative analysis, or research.
  • Proficiency in Python or R, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels, TensorFlow/PyTorch, or ggplot2, is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, time series forecasting, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Understanding of macroeconomic indicators, financial markets, or policy-related datasets.
  • Experience working with large or complex databases and statistical software environments (R Studio, VS Code, Spyder, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate complex results clearly through reports, visualizations, and presentations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.
