Cube Networks is on the lookout for Network Engineer - Level 1 to join our Frontline team. We are a leading technology services provider committed to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. As part of our expansion, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Level 1 Network Engineer to join our Frontline team in Colombo. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about network monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to network alerts and incidents, ensuring service uptime and availability.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting to resolve issues with connectivity, hardware, and software.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level NOC teams or engineers.
- Perform routine checks, maintenance, and updates on network infrastructure.
- Ensure proper documentation of incidents, resolutions, and updates within the incident management system.
- Work with other teams to ensure continuous service delivery and improvement.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports on network performance and incidents.
- Provide 24/7 support across rotating shifts (Day/Night/Weekend).
Qualifications:
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification is required.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
- Previous experience in a NOC or technical support role is a plus but not mandatory.
