Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building custom WordPress websites and themes, optimizing performance, integrating plugins, and ensuring cross-browser and mobile compatibility. You will work closely with our designers, content teams, and back-end developers to deliver high-quality websites and digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Customize existing themes based on client requirements.
• Build responsive websites that function seamlessly across all major devices and browsers.
• Integrate and configure third-party plugins and APIs.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, and security.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, performance issues, or compatibility problems.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate UI/UX designs into functional web pages.
• Maintain version control using Git and follow development best practices.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in WordPress and web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in WordPress development.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Experience with custom themes, plugins, and WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Strong understanding of WordPress core, hooks, and filters.
• Knowledge of MySQL, REST APIs, and AJAX.
• Experience with version control (Git) and deployment processes.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Headless WordPress or modern JS frameworks (e.g., React, Vue).
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of security best practices in WordPress.
• Familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop.
