Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage internal IT infrastructure, including both physical and virtual servers.
- Administer and perform basic tasks within virtual environments using Hyper-V and VMware.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to coordinate the technical aspects of IT-related projects.
- Engage with customers to provide technical consultations and address infrastructure-related requirements.
- Maintain and update IT inventory, including hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Manage and support Active Directory, including user account management and policy configuration.
- Install server software and prepare server environments for deployment.
- Perform SQL database backups, restorations, and installations.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Hyper-V and VMware virtualization platforms.
- Proficient in SQL database backup, restoration, and installation processes.
- Practical experience in installing and managing Windows Server operating systems.
- Good communication skills in English and Sinhala, both written and verbal.
- Experience with SAP Business One on HANA and SQL environments is an advantage.
- Ability to interact with clients in a technical consulting capacity.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to coordinate and support internal project execution.
