Junior IT Support Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide user support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Configure and manage Microsoft 365 accounts, Teams, Dropbox, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange.
  • Support VoIP telephony (3CX) including extension setup, voicemail, and softphone deployment.
  • Assist with system administration, network maintenance, and IT project delivery.
  • Produce clear documentation and guides, and support staff onboarding.
  • Liaise with external IT contractors in Australia to coordinate on-site support where required.


Essential Requirements

  • Diploma/degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent certifications).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in IT support/helpdesk or similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following sectors: not-for-profit/charity, property, or financial services.
  • Microsoft 365 Certifications (or ability to obtain within 6 months): Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900), Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102), Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate (MS-740)
  • Technical skills in Microsoft 365 administration, Windows 11 support, networking basics, and VoIP (3CX or similar).
  • Strong English communication skills, professionalism, and problem-solving ability.


Desirable

  • Experience with cloud migrations, Intune, and automation (PowerShell).
  • Microsoft 365 Messaging, Security, or Collaboration certifications.
  • Cross-platform support experience (MacOS, mobile devices).
