IT Software Developer II (.NET)

Perituza is a global software development and consulting company headquartered in Houston, Texas (USA), with development centers in New Delhi, India and Colombo, Sri Lanka.

We are looking for a full-stack software developer specializing in web-based .NET application development.

This is a hybrid position based at One Galle Face. This position will be onsite at our temporary office one (1) day per week; however, following the completion of our new office construction, this position will be onsite three (3) days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop complex software projects
• Build solutions using an agile workflow
• Review code of other team members and provide technical feedback
• Attend project meetings and daily standups with US-based customers; raise issues and report progress
• Incorporate quality software practices into all phases of the project life lifecycle
• Stay up-to-date on the latest industry and technology trends, and look for ways to implement new ideas to continually improve the assigned projects

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in web-based application development
• 2+ years of experience in .NET Core or ASP.NET MVC
• 2+ years of experience with responsive web UI development
• 1+ year of experience with React or Angular preferred
• Experience working with cloud services
• Experience with agile development
• Ability to attend project meetings after-hours with US-based clients as required
• Ability to support production support out of normal office hours as required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with native English-speaking customers

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience using task management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
• Experience in unit test development with tools such as XUnit, NUnit, Jest, or Jasmine

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline preferred
