What You'll Do
Cloud Infrastructure & Automation
Design, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Foundational understanding of cloud architecture is essential. Experience with Infrastructure as Code practices is important; ideally, you're familiar with tools like Terraform and cloud platforms like AWS (e.g., EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, Cognito)
Containerization & Orchestration
Deploy and manage containerized applications with an emphasis on performance and reliability. A solid grasp of container orchestration concepts is required; ideally, you’ve worked with Kubernetes and managed workloads using EKS.
CI/CD & Deployment Automation
Build and maintain efficient deployment pipelines that support fast, stable releases. A strong understanding of continuous integration and delivery principles is key. Ideally, you’ve used tools like CodeCommit, CodeBuild, and ArgoCD.
Observability & System Health
Implement effective monitoring and alerting strategies to ensure system health and performance. Conceptual clarity around observability is important, ideally, you have experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
Security & Compliance
Integrate security best practices into infrastructure and deployment workflows. Ideally, you're familiar with DevSecOps tools like SonarQube and Trivy.
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
Work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Participate in incident response efforts and help drive process improvements through collaboration and open communication.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills:
- 2-3 years of hands-on DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience.
- Proficiency with AWS services and EKS/Kubernetes.
- Experience with Terraform, Git, and CI/CD tools (ArgoCD preferred).
- Problem-solving mindset with excellent troubleshooting abilities.
Highly Valued:
- Experience working with a service mesh like Istio.
- DevSecOps and compliance automation experience.
