Exciting opportunity for a talented and versatile Content Writer & SEO Executive to join our
growing team at the WIS Group. As a fast-expanding group of companies in the UK Accountancy
and Financial Services industry, we are seeking a creative individual to take charge of our content
strategy, drive organic traffic, and bring fresh ideas to life. While content writing and SEO will be
the core focus areas, we value well-rounded individuals who understand social media dynamics
and can support visual storytelling through basic graphic design.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content strategy, SEO best practices, and an
understanding of social media dynamics. They will be responsible for producing high-quality written
content, optimising website performance, conducting keyword and competitor research, supporting
visual storytelling through basic graphic design, and analysing digital performance metrics to
continuously enhance content effectiveness and online visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write high-quality, SEO-optimised content for blogs, landing pages, email campaigns, and
more.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and implement on-page SEO best practices.
• Create and manage content calendars to align with digital campaigns.
• Craft compelling captions and microcopy for social media posts.
• Design simple visuals (carousels, infographics, social graphics) using Canva.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure cohesive branding across written and visual content.
• Track and report on SEO performance, keyword rankings, and content reach.
• Stay updated on SEO trends, Google algorithms, and content performance tools.
Requirements:
• Excellent command of written English with strong grammar, structure, and storytelling skills.
• Proven experience in SEO writing and ability to optimise content based on keywords and
strategy.
• Proficiency in using Canva for creating supporting visual content.
• Ability to write for different platforms, tones, and audiences (technical, casual, professional).
• Creative mindset with a strong understanding of social media content styles.
• Strong time management, independence, and attention to detail.
