The system, developed in Java Enterprise Edition, balances simplicity and robustness and employs Object-Oriented Design. It features a web application, a RESTful server, and integrates technologies like JSF, JPA, and PrimeFaces.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Associate Software Developer, based in Galle with some work from home flexibility. The Associate Software Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend web applications, writing clean and efficient code, participating in software development processes, and implementing object-oriented programming principles. Additionally, the role involves unit testing, debugging, and deploying software solutions within our healthcare information management system.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Computer Science and Programming
- Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Knowledge in Java Enterprise Edition, including technologies such as JSF, JPA, and PrimeFaces
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
