We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with automation experience to deliver high-quality, bug-free products. We are the growth-oriented agile team behind FreeConvert.com, ImageResizer.com, and PhotoJoiner, which millions of visitors use monthly to process files and create photo stories.

Position: Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SQA)

Salary: 200,000 to 300,000 LKR / month

Job Nature: Full-time (Hybrid)


Required skills:

  • At least one (1) year of automation experience (Cypress/Playwright/Selenium)
  • At least three (3) years of quality assurance experience in Agile projects.
  • Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Functional, browser compatibility, regression, and security testing.
  • Hands-on experience in REST API testing using API testing tools (i.e., Postman, Bruno, Jest) is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience getting application logs using the Chrome Dev tool is a must.
  • Experience with Database testing. Hands-on experience with NoSQL Database testing (i.e., MongoDB, DynamoDB) is a plus.
  • Experience in inspecting software logs using application logs monitoring tools (i.e., Graylog, Sentry)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (i.e., Jenkins, Bitbucket pipeline) is a plus.
  • A basic understanding of application monitoring tools (i.e., Cloudflare, Grafana) is a plus.


What you’ll do:

  • Writing and maintaining efficient, thorough test cases (manual & automated) for our web applications.
  • Record bugs with detailed steps for developers to reproduce.
  • Work closely with developers and, product owner to ensure seamless alignment and successful project delivery.
  • Identifying tests that can be automated and automating them.
  • Assure the accuracy of software before production release through functional and regression testing.
  • Collaborate within an agile team, providing input for the product backlog, sprint planning, story development, demos, and team retrospectives.
  • Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective action to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.
