We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Web Developer to join our team. This role focuses on building simple yet professional websites for Sri Lankan SMEs and startups that need affordable, presence-based digital platforms. You'll be working closely with our UI/UX and marketing teams to deliver websites that are both functional and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop basic websites using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress or other CMS tools).
Customize templates/themes to suit client requirements.
Ensure websites are responsive and optimized across all devices.
Collaborate with designers and content creators to complete projects on time.
Perform basic testing and debugging before delivery.
Provide support for updates and minor changes requested by clients.
Qualifications:
1+ year experience in web development (internship/freelance included).
Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms like WordPress.
Understanding of responsive web design principles.
Basic knowledge of SEO and website speed optimization.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to handle multiple projects with minimal supervision.
Bonus Points:
Familiarity with website hosting and domain management.
Previous experience working with Sri Lankan clients or SMEs.
