The Business Insight Digital Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting digital product teams by providing data-driven insights into online customer journey effectiveness. This role is responsible for analysing customer interactions, evaluating the results of Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) tests, and leveraging tools such as ContentSquare to identify user pain points and opportunities for optimisation. The analyst will work closely with multiple departments to enhance the digital customer experience and improve overall online performance.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Online Customer Journey Analysis:

Assess and interpret digital customer behaviour, identifying trends and areas for improvement within the online experience.

  • Aonversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Evaluation:

Analyse the results of CRO tests, providing insights into test performance and recommendations for future experiments.

  • Utilisation of Digital Analytics Tools:

Leverage tools such as Google Analytics, ContentSquare, and Looker Studio to track user interactions and identify pain points.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with digital product teams, UX designers, and marketing teams to provide actionable insights that enhance the online experience.

  • A/B Testing Support:

Assist in designing, implementing, and analysing A/B and multivariate tests to optimise website and app performance.

  • Dashboard & Report Development:

Create and maintain reports and dashboards that track key digital performance metrics and customer behaviours.

  • Data Governance & Compliance:

Ensure adherence to regulatory and organisational data governance policies, including GDPR compliance.


Essential Skills

  • Experience in digital analytics, web analytics, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics and ContentSquare.
  • Strong understanding of CRO methodologies, A/B testing, and user experience (UX) principles.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.S
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.K
  • Knowledge of website performance metrics and e-commerce analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.


Desirable Skills

  • Experience within the insurance, financial services.
  • Experience working in an agile and fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, or other web technologies to better understand digital tracking implementations.
  • Exposure to marketing analytics and campaign performance tracking.
  • Understanding of personalisation and customer segmentation strategies.
