Trainee Quality Assurance Engineer
Requirements:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather project needs and align with product goals.
- Assist in developing well-organized, detailed test scenarios and participate in their execution.
- Detect, document, and track software defects in a clear and timely fashion.
- Learn to monitor and interpret QA metrics such as defect trends, test completeness, and issue rates.
- Contribute to identifying product-related issues, conduct root cause analysis, and suggest enhancements.
- Provide support to developers and QA leads to maintain high product standards and optimal user satisfaction.
- Maintain a proactive attitude towards learning emerging testing tools, AI-driven QA practices, and quality strategies.
Qualifications:
- In pursuit of a Bachelor’s (successful completion of third year) or Degree in Computer Science (Software Engineering is preferred)
- Previous experience in QA is a bonus.
- Good grasp of fundamental software testing concepts and the software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail and a problem-solving approach.
- Hands-on experience or willingness to explore automation tools (like Selenium, Katalon) is desirable.
- Understanding of performance or security testing adds value.
- Clear communication abilities and a high sense of ownership and responsibility.
