About the Role

At Atlas Teams, we help innovative businesses scale through top-tier remote talent. We are currently hiring a Software Engineer to support one of our international retail clients in automating their operations using AI agents, integrations, and workflow automation tools.

This is a hands-on, solution-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys building intelligent systems that automate real-world tasks—from data entry to content distribution across platforms. You’ll play a key role in transforming traditional retail workflows using modern automation tools and AI logic.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop an AI-powered automation platform to handle and manage workflows related to incoming inventory.
• Automate repetitive tasks such as: reading and extracting details from spreadsheets, populating details into internal sheets, automatically posting product listings across platforms such as Telegram, Carousell, Website CMS, and Facebook.
• Integrate external APIs and tools (e.g., Facebook, Telegram bots, Shopify or custom CMS).
• Evaluate the feasibility of automating basic image editing tasks (e.g., cropping, resizing, background cleanup using AI-powered tools like Photoshop APIs, remove.bg, or RunwayML).
• Create a system dashboard or interface (could be no-code/low-code or custom) to manage automated flows.
• Provide technical recommendations on the most viable AI agent platforms (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, Zapier AI, Make.com, or custom Python-based agents).
• Ensure the system is secure, scalable, and easy to maintain.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably with exposure to AI tools and automation platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages commonly used in automation.
• Experience working with API integrations, especially with social media platforms, e-commerce tools, and spreadsheets (Google Sheets API).
• Familiarity with no-code/low-code automation tools (Zapier, Make.com, n8n) or agentic frameworks(LangChain, AutoGPT).
• Bonus: Knowledge of AI-powered image editing tools or APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Good communication skills to interact with non-technical stakeholders and understand workflow pain points.
