We are seeking a technically skilled and customer-oriented Senior Web Developer to maintain, manage, and support web hosting infrastructure and WordPress-based websites. This hybrid role bridges system administration and front-end/back-end development, with a strong focus on hosting, DNS, and domain management.


You will work both independently and collaboratively to troubleshoot issues, ensure uptime, and deliver updates and technical support to internal teams and clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid technical foundation who enjoys proactive problem-solving and clear communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage existing WordPress websites
  • Perform regular website backups and restorations
  • Manage domain records and DNS configurations
  • Update websites and troubleshoot hosting/server issues
  • Set up and migrate websites to new hosting environments
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients
  • Write clear, user-friendly communications for non-technical audiences
  • Prioritise tasks effectively based on urgency and business impact
  • Collaborate within a small technical team and take ownership of tasks
  • Monitor website/server health using monitoring tools to proactively resolve issues
  • Qualifications/Experience:
  • Experience with website hosting, domain management, and DNS systems
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with WordPress CMS and cPanel environments
  • Solid understanding of web server maintenance and backups
