We are seeking a skilled and proactive Lead DevOps Engineer to spearhead the development and operations of our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of DevOps engineers, defining best practices, and ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps Engineers/Trainees.
- Design, Implement, and Maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions.
- Automate Infrastructure Provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools - Terraform.
- Manage and Monitor Cloud Infrastructure (Azure, GCP, AWS).
- Oversee Containerization and Orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, Cloud base GKE/AKS.
- Implement security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and reliability.
- Drive Incident Response, Root Cause Analysis, and System Performance Tuning.
- Maintain and Improve observability through Logging, Monitoring, and Alerting Systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Assist with Cost Optimization, Performance Improvements, and Scaling Strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud/SecOps/System Engineering or related roles.
- Proven experience in Cloud Infrastructure (GCP/Azure).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, Container Platforms, and Configuration Management.
- Solid understanding of Cloud Security, Networking, Cloud Database Services and System Architecture.
- Experience in scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
- Strong Leadership, Communication, and Problem-Solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications in GCP/Azure/AWS or Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
