What You’ll Do
- Monitor Systems: Keep a close eye on our monitoring dashboards and alert systems (e.g., Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog).
- Alert Response: Track Alerts channels, identify issues, and escalate them to the appropriate teams in a timely and clear manner.
- Incident Support: We support our engineers during production issues by gathering logs and status reports and providing hands-on help.
- Log Analysis: Learn how to read logs and identify potential issues.
- Automate Basics: Assist in writing simple scripts or tools to automate repetitive monitoring or reporting tasks.
- Documentation: Help maintain runbooks, system documentation, and escalation playbooks.
- Learn & Grow: Receive structured training in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring best practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- Basic understanding of Linux systems and command-line tools.
- Familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Awareness of cloud computing concepts (AWS preferred, but any is fine).
- Good communication skills and ability to follow through on tasks.
- Willingness to work in shifts or be part of an on-call rotation (with support).
- Strong desire to learn, take ownership, and improve.
