Data Scientist

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models to uncover patterns, predict trends, and solve high-impact business challenges.
• Accelerate revenue growth and margin improvement through analytical support in areas such as pricing strategy, promotional effectiveness, and strategic sourcing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data science solutions are aligned with evolving business needs.
• Promote a culture of data literacy by simplifying complex AI and analytics concepts, enabling wider adoption across the organization.
• Embed automation and predictive intelligence into key processes to drive operational efficiency and proactive decision-making.
• Generate actionable insights to enhance the effectiveness and personalization of customer-facing initiatives across regions, channels, and product categories.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines, clean data architecture, and scalable infrastructure for model development and deployment.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science or Statistics from a recognized university.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in developing and deploying AI, advanced statistical and machine learning models preferably within the FMCG, retail, or consumer goods industry.
• Proficiency in data science oriented languages such as Python, R and SQL
• Proven experience in leading AI/ML initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Experience in deploying and maintaining models in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong command of predictive modeling, classification, regression, clustering, uplift modeling, and time-series forecasting.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and collaborating with data engineering teams.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
