UI/UX Designer

We are seeking a UI/UX designer, responsible for architecting, developing, and delivering high-performance web application in the AdTech space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working on UI/UX projects. Design holistic systems, flows, and interfaces that are simple, elegant, and beautiful through detailed wireframes, visual compositions, and prototypes.
• Analyse competitors products to identify opportunities for differentiation or improvement and present insights via tables, SWOT analyses, diagrams, etc.
• Design user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide the development of innovative tools.
• Create visually appealing UI designs that align with our brand identity and product vision.
• Develop the visual aesthetics of the product, including colour schemes, typography, and iconography, focusing on simplicity, accessibility, and ease of use.
• Contribute to graphic design tasks and assist in developing UI/UX components.
• Utilise frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support design implementation.
• Collaborate with the development team and learn to work with frameworks like React (experience is an added advantage).

Skills Required:

• 4+ years experience in Figma and strong knowledge of user-centered design principles.
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, particularly for web-based or SaaS platforms.
• Strong understanding in discovery platforms and marketplaces.
• Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar.
• Experience with data-driven design, usability testing, and responsive design.
• A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
• Experience or exposure to design systems (e.g., Tailwind, Shadcn) is a bonus.

Education and Experience:

• A degree in industrial design, graphic design, or a related field is often preferred.
• Experience in user experience (UX) design, user interface (UI) design for Web applications. Bonus if in the Advertising, Digital media, Discovery and directory space.
• A portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects, from concept to final product, is essential for showcasing skills.
