About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Lead who can own engineering execution across our core privacy platforms.
This isn’t a managerial seat—it’s a builder’s role. You’ll be writing production code, solving performance challenges, helping shape the product roadmap, and leading development sprints. You’ll work closely with the founding team, collaborate across product and client teams, and play a key role in setting engineering standards for scale.
The ideal candidate has strong full-stack engineering experience, is fluent in both backend architecture and frontend development, and is confident tackling problems across infrastructure, integrations, and data security.

Responsibilities
- Take full technical ownership of multiple core products in production
- Build, test, and ship features across the stack—from database to UI
- Lead architecture decisions, drive code quality, and solve scaling issues
- Work directly with founders and clients to turn problems into product improvements
- Translate business needs into engineering roadmaps and technical specs
- Debug and resolve live issues across client environments and integrations
- Guide technical execution, sprint planning, and infrastructure reliability
- Support a culture of shipping, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Stay ahead of trends in AI governance, privacy tech, and compliance tooling
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a software engineer in high-velocity environments
- Strong command of modern full-stack tools (e.g., Node.js, TypeScript, Python, React)
- Proven track record building and scaling backend systems and APIs
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and CI/CD workflows
- Experience with data protection, security, or enterprise SaaS (huge bonus)
- Ability to independently own projects end-to-end—from idea to production
- Comfort working closely with clients and adapting to evolving use cases
- Strong communication and documentation skills; startup mindset is a must
- Based in Sri Lanka ; full-time commitment required
