Role Overview
We are seeking a sharp, intellectually curious Junior Legal Associate to join a newly repositioned boutique law firm with a cutting-edge focus on blockchain and emerging technology law. This firm has recently undergone a strategic merger and is launching new offices in Dubai. You will work directly with the firm’s two experienced partners and a global client base spanning the UAE, Australia, and beyond.
This is a high-responsibility, high-growth opportunity ideal for early-career legal professionals who want to build deep subject matter expertise in one of the most rapidly evolving areas of law.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research on developing and unsettled areas of law, with a focus on blockchain, digital assets, and emerging technologies.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing a range of commercial agreements tailored to technology firms and start-ups.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments globally, providing updates and insights that impact client matters and firm positioning.
- Strategically manage partner calendars, client interactions, and deal flow processes.
- Coordinate legal correspondence and ensure efficient communication with international clients and stakeholders.
- Draft thought leadership articles, client updates, and legal blogs that position the firm as a global thought leader in blockchain and emerging tech.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of post-qualification experience in legal practice or relevant internship experience.
- Strong academic credentials (2:1 or higher or equivalent from a respected university or law school).
- Demonstrated interest in blockchain, Web3, emerging tech, and regulatory reform.
- Solid foundation in commercial law and legal research.
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to write compelling and insightful legal content.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities across different time zones.
- Strong interpersonal and professional skills; comfort working remotely with international teams.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine desire to be a part of shaping the future of tech law.

- Coursework, certifications, or published writing related to blockchain, fintech, or tech regulation.
- Prior experience or internships with boutique law firms or start-up advisory roles.
- Exposure to UAE, Australian, or international legal systems.
