The Qualifications We Seek
- 3+ years of experience managing AWS environments
- Strong knowledge of AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM
- Experience with scripting languages: Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Understanding of cloud security and compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and the ELK stack
- AWS certifications are a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills
Your Daily Tasks
- Deploy, configure, and manage AWS cloud environments to support business operations
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, cost efficiency, and security
- Implement and maintain IAM roles, policies, and access controls to ensure data security
- Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Manage AWS networking components such as VPCs, Route 53, and security groups
- Monitor logs and security events using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and GuardDuty
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery testing
- Support CI/CD pipelines and containerized applications
- Stay current with AWS updates and best practices
- Maintain documentation on configurations, policies, and troubleshooting procedures
