We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to build and maintain high-performance review websites. You’ll specialize in custom theme/plugin development, SEO optimization, API integrations, and security hardening to create scalable, data-driven review platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain WordPress review websites with custom post types (reviews, ratings, comparisons).
- Build custom themes/plugins (PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) tailored for review sites (e.g., scoring systems, pros/cons templates).
- Implement SEO best practices: Schema markup, internal linking strategies, and multilingual SEO (if applicable).
- Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., affiliate platforms, data feeds) and develop custom REST endpoints.
- Harden security: Prevent SQLi/XSS attacks, configure WAF rules, and manage DDoS mitigation.
- Conduct performance audits using tools like Lighthouse or New Relic.
- Work with editors to design review templates (product comparisons, rating widgets).
- Support remote teams (English + Chinese/Thai communication).
Requirements:
Technical Skills
- 2+ years of WordPress development (showcase review sites or similar).
- Advanced PHP, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and CSS preprocessors (Sass/Less).
- Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush) and Schema markup, and
- API integrations (RESTful, OAuth) and headless WordPress setups.
- Security plugins (Wordfence, Sucuri) and performance optimization.
Soft Skills
- (For candidates from Taiwan and Malaysia) Fluent English + Chinese; or
- (For candidates from Thailand) Fluent Thai + English (a MUST) spoken and written skills.
- Being based in Taiwan, Malaysia, or Thailand is a MUST.
- Remote work discipline: Self-managed, async communication.
- Candidates from Thailand is going to work on-site.

- Experience with Gutenberg block development.
