We are looking for a Mobile Release Engineer to manage the end-to-end submission, optimization, and maintenance of applications on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This role ensures compliance with platform guidelines and maximizes app visibility across both stores
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit apps to Google Play Store and Apple App Store, ensuring adherence to platform-specific guidelines (e.g., metadata, privacy policies, content ratings).
- Optimize app listings for ASO (App Store Optimization) across both platforms (keywords, descriptions, screenshots).
- Manage app updates, version control, and release scheduling via Google Play Console and App Store Connect.
- Monitor app performance metrics (downloads, ratings, reviews) and implement strategies to improve rankings.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve submission/rejection issues (e.g., compliance, technical requirements).
- Stay updated on policy changes for both stores and ensure ongoing compliance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in mobile app submission for Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store.
- Proficiency in Android development tools (Kotlin/Java) and iOS tools (Swift/Xcode).
- Strong understanding of store guidelines (Google Play Policy, Apple App Review Guidelines).
- Experience with ASO tools (e.g., Sensor Tower, App Annie) and analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter, React Native) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
