As a Junior Power BI Developer, you will focus on creating engaging and insightful Power BI dashboards that deliver a seamless user experience. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around designing report layouts, implementing best practices in UI/UX, and writing DAX measures. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate their needs into interactive and visually impactful reports.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop visually appealing Power BI dashboards that effectively communicate insights.
- Implement DAX measures and calculations to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Apply UI/UX best practices to ensure dashboards are intuitive and user-friendly.
- Work closely with business users to understand reporting needs and refine visualizations accordingly.
- Optimize report performance by efficiently structuring visuals, filters, and interactivity.
- Maintain consistency in design elements, themes, and formatting across reports.
- Stay up to date with Power BI new features and visualization best practices.
Required Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience in designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
· Strong expertise in DAX for custom calculations and dynamic measures.
· A keen eye for dashboard design, layout, and interactivity.
· Experience with Power BI themes, custom visuals, and formatting options.
· Ability to transform raw data into clear, engaging, and actionable insights.
· Strong understanding of data storytelling principles and best practices.
· Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and gather requirements.
· Experience in Power BI Service (publishing, workspaces, access management).
· Knowledge of Power BI Bookmarks, Drillthrough, and Tooltips for enhanced user experience.
· Familiarity with basic SQL for querying data is a plus but not required.
