About This Role:
As an Associate QA Lead, your key objectives will be to:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and procedures to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Conduct thorough web testing, front-end manual testing, configuration testing, and database validation.
- Create and manage test cases independently, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
- Oversee bug reporting and tracking using tools such as Jira, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
- Conduct regression and smoke testing to validate software releases and ensure stability.
- Act as a liaison between the QA team and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and quality metrics.
We are Looking for Individuals who have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of industrial experience in manual testing, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of web testing, front-end manual testing, configuration, and database validation.
- Strong proficiency in test case management and the ability to develop comprehensive test plans.
- Experience working in Agile environments, specifically with Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
- Any experience with Test Automation will be an advantage
- ISTQB Foundation Level Certification will be an added advantage
