We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer with expertise in Elementor and payment gateway integrations to join our dynamic team. As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance WordPress websites, implementing custom payment gateway solutions (such as Stripe, PayHere, Web X Pay, or others), and ensuring the security, performance, and scalability of the websites. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom WordPress websites tailored to client needs
- Create and modify WordPress themes and plugins for enhanced functionality
- Integrate and configure payment gateways (Stripe, PayHere, Web X Pay, etc.) into WordPress websites
- Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and mobile-friendliness
- Work closely with designers to integrate interactive and visual elements
- Implement best practices for website security and data protection
- Conduct regular updates and maintenance of existing websites
- Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in WordPress development
- Collaborate effectively in both team-based and independent work settings
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development
- Expertise in using Elementor to build dynamic, custom page layouts
- In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
- Experience with responsive web design and mobile optimization
- Expertise in integrating and configuring payment gateways (Stripe, PayHere, Web X Pay, etc.) in WordPress sites
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code
- Familiarity with WordPress security best practices
- Knowledge of SEO principles and optimization
- Experience with version control tools like Git
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to independently manage tasks and deliver high-quality work within deadlines
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a WordPress Developer
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in WordPress frameworks and page builders such as Elementor
- Experience with website performance optimization strategies
- Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles
- Experience with hosting and deployment processes
- Client-facing experience, including gathering requirements and providing technical guidance
