What You'll Do
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with Data and Analytics interest to join our BI & Analytics (BI&A) Team and work with data in a business setting!
This is a 4-month, full-time hours, paid internship that is set to commence on January 6 to May 2, 2025. We work 37.5 hours per week from Monday through Friday.
As an intern on the BI&A team, you will work with experienced developers and gain hands-on experience in building web-based enhancement reports and data visualizations using Vue.js, CSS, JavaScript, and reporting tools. You will also assist developers and business users in supporting the operation and maintenance of reports.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a strong interest in web development and data reporting
- Is familiar with front-end development technologies such as Vue.js, CSS, and JavaScript
- Is comfortable working with visualization/reporting tools like Cognos etc..
- Is a team player
- Enjoys problem-solving and improving user interfaces
- Is a good communicator who can clearly share ideas and collaborate with others
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with languages used to work with data such as SQL, or Python
- Reporting experience (e.g., creating dashboards or enhancement reports)
- Bilingual (spoken and written) in French and English
