Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Front-End Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for building and optimising user-facing features for our web applications. As a key member of our development team, you will collaborate closely with our designers, back-end developers, and product managers to create seamless and engaging user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop responsive, high-performance, and visually appealing web applications.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimise code to improve performance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with front-end platforms/frameworks such as Angular, React, or similar.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end components with back-end services.
- Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Added Advantage:
- Experience with Angular (Angular 2+ preferred).
- Knowledge of TypeScript.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
