Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Jaffna for a Senior Developer. The Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, debugging, and maintaining scalable software applications. The position involves collaborating with a team to deliver high-quality solutions, ensuring code optimization, and participating in detailed technical discussions. The Developer will also conduct code reviews, mentor junior team members, and stay current with emerging technology trends to contribute to innovative product development.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Experience with frameworks and libraries, including React, Angular, or Node.js
- In-depth knowledge of APIs, RESTful services, and backend systems
- Strong grasp of system architecture, software design patterns, and cloud-based solutions
- Ability to lead and mentor a development team, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines
- Proficient problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in e-commerce platforms and digital solutions is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and version control systems like Git
