We are looking for a hands-on Associate Tech Lead with strong experience in React Native and Node.js to support technical delivery across mobile and backend development.
This role bridges senior engineering and technical leadership, where you will contribute significantly to development while guiding team members, supporting architecture decisions, and ensuring engineering best practices are followed.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native, and build backend services using Node.js
- Lead code quality through reviews, maintain coding standards, and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
- Contribute to architectural and design decisions, technical specifications, and system improvements
- Resolve complex technical issues and help unblock team members
- Monitor application performance and drive improvements in reliability and efficiency
- Support CI/CD processes, manage mobile app builds and releases, and ensure timely delivery
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and Design teams to deliver features and communicate technical updates to stakeholders
- Help document technical processes and architectural decisions
What we expect
- Experience: 5+ years in mobile or backend development, with at least 2+ years in React Native and Node.js (or equivalent demonstrated capability across the full stack)
- Technical foundation: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of native mobile concepts
- Experience managing mobile app builds, releases, and app store processes
- Ability to author technical specifications and estimate deliverables
- Proven ability to guide and inspire team members, drive project success, and maintain accountability
- Excellent communication skills and proven effectiveness in collaborative team environments
- Ability to balance hands-on development with mentoring and technical leadership
