POSITION: Business Analyst
LOCATION: Wattala
SALARY: LKR 150,000 – 165,000 (Gross)
OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic and Strategic Business Analyst to bridge the gap between departments and drive operational excellence. Reporting to the management team, you will be responsible for identifying bottlenecks, solving cross-departmental challenges, and providing data-driven insights to support long-term business goals. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who looks beyond numbers to understand the "big picture" of hospitality operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate across departments to streamline workflows.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on operational inefficiencies.
- Monitor KPIs and provide actionable reports to leadership.
- Align departmental initiatives with broader strategic and financial goals.
- Evaluate departmental budgets and resource allocation through financial analysis.
PRE-REQUISITES:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in a relevant field is a must. Finance-related qualifications (e.g., AAT) are a plus.
- 1–2 years of experience in cross-departmental analysis/problem-solving.
- Hospitality industry experience is a significant advantage.
- Excellent English fluency ( verbal and written).
