Role Description
This is a fully remote, flexible internship role for an Intern Backend Developer. The selected candidate will contribute to backend system development using .NET (C#) and/or Spring Boot (Java), assist in building and maintaining RESTful APIs, and participate in the full software development lifecycle.
The intern will collaborate remotely with frontend, mobile, and QA team members, support testing and debugging processes, and help ensure backend services are secure, efficient, and scalable.
This internship will run for six months and is offered as an unpaid opportunity designed to provide real-world, hands-on industry experience.
Qualifications
Basic proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
Knowledge of .NET (C#) and/or Java with Spring Boot
Understanding of REST API development and integration
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
Basic knowledge of databases and data handling
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Good communication skills and collaborative mindset
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (completed or in progress) is beneficial
