Are you passionate about building and maintaining mission-critical enterprise systems? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead – DevOps Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, automation, security, performance tuning, and recovery procedures for the Bank’s core digital platforms including , Digital Banking, Workflow Management platforms, Core banking containerize platform.
You’ll work closely with Application Development, Database Administration, Application Support, Business Solutions, and Digital Channels teams to resolve day-to-day issues and drive continuous improvement. You’ll also research, recommend, and implement new technologies and system enhancements to support the Bank’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure uninterrupted functioning of enterprise systems hardware and operating systems supporting mission-critical applications.
- Collaborate with software developers to streamline build and deployment processes.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient code integration, testing, and deployment.
- Automate configuration management and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and compliant cloud foundations across multi-cloud environments.
- Optimize cloud cost and performance, monitor system reliability, and recommend architectural improvements.
- Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, network segmentation, and encryption.
- Provide technical guidance for cloud adoption, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
- Monitor system performance, analyze diagnostics, and provide solutions for improvement.
- Lead, guide, and motivate staff, supporting their career development and knowledge transfer.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in IT, with at least 4 years as a Senior DevOps Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as AWS, Azure, Terraform, Ansible, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (OWASP Top 10, NIST, CIS Benchmarks).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proven leadership and people management abilities.
- Experience in a medium to large-scale commercial establishment, preferably in a financial institution, is an advantage.
