Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the execution of the company’s ICT strategy, ensuring alignment with overall goals
- Ensure reliable 24/7 IT services by managing continuity, support, and performance across all IT functions
- Lead initiatives to increase revenue, automate processes, and optimize costs while boosting service quality and responsiveness
- Direct and support complex projects such as system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting critical service disruptions
- Maintain stable and secure infrastructure by enforcing rigorous standards, procedures, and guidelines
- Conduct vendor evaluations and manage partnerships to secure best-in-class IT services and solutions
- Oversee application support activities to ensure consistent service delivery and accountability
- Prepare and manage budgets for all IT initiatives, ensuring disciplined spending and cost control
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute IT projects on schedule, within approved budgets, and with high stakeholder satisfaction
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering continuous growth and excellence
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years’ progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in a senior managerial role within a bank or finance company
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Master’s degree in Business Management, IT, or a relevant field will be considered an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
