About This Role
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Business Analyst Intern (BA Intern) to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business analysis, digital product development, and cross-functional collaboration. As a BA Intern, you will play a key role in gathering and analyzing business requirements, supporting the design of effective digital solutions, and contributing to real-world projects that drive organizational growth.
Your Key Responsibilities
Assist in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders.
Support the development of process flows, wireframes, and requirement specifications.
Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with developers, designers, project managers, and QA teams to ensure clear understanding of business needs.
Conduct market and competitor research to support solution planning.
Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and documentation for internal and client-facing meetings.
Work with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, SQL, and other BA-related software.
Take part in testing and validation of developed solutions to ensure alignment with requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation skills are a must.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or SQL is a plus.
Fluency in three languages (English, Sinhala & Tamil) will be considered a significant advantage.
Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work in a fast-paced team environment.
