We are looking for a Laravel Developer to join our team and help build high-quality, scalable web applications. This role is ideal for someone with strong Laravel experience who is ready to take on more responsibility—whether it’s improving architecture, contributing to system design, or mentoring junior developers.
You’ll work across the full stack, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and play a key role in shaping our application development practices. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of Laravel, modern PHP, and front-end technologies, and is comfortable balancing hands-on coding with broader technical contributions.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and optimize complex Laravel-based applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-impact features.
- Architect efficient, reusable, and testable components and systems.
- Write clean, secure, and well-documented code using best practices and design principles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Participate in sprint planning, technical scoping, and effort estimation.
- Stay current with Laravel ecosystem updates and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of professional experience in PHP and Laravel development.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns (e.g., Repository, Service Layer, Factory).
- Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js or React.
- Solid experience with MySQL (or other RDBMS), including schema design and query optimization.
- Familiar with RESTful API development and integration.
- Comfortable with Git, Git-based workflows, and code collaboration tools.
- Experience with automated testing (PHPUnit or Pest) and debugging.
- Good understanding of Agile development practices and team collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Docker or other containerization tools.
- Familiarity with the TALL stack (Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, Laravel Livewire).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Forge, Envoyer, or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of server and deployment environments (e.g., Linux, Nginx, AWS).
- Contributions to open-source Laravel projects or an active GitHub portfolio.
