As a Junior Technology Executive, you will be the first point of technical contact for our retail outlets and internal teams. You’ll deliver hands-on support and drive operational excellence across our digital platforms, including the Spa Ceylon Rewards and Spa Reservation apps. You’ll also partner with Customer Care, Development, and Security teams to resolve issues, implement best practices, and support ongoing projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time RDP-based assistance to retail locations addressing hardware/software issues.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Care team to diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by customers.
  • Oversee both local and international Spa Ceylon Rewards app dashboards—triage incidents, log developments, and liaise with development and analytics teams.
  • Monitor and maintain the Spa Ceylon Spa Reservation app dashboards, ensuring uptime and data accuracy; coordinate fixes or enhancements with stakeholders.
  • Participate in future development initiatives—gather requirements, assist testing, and provide technical feedback.
  • Offer basic troubleshooting and configuration for Shopify stores, including theme adjustments and app integrations.
  • Maintain and enforce security best practices across endpoints and networks; assist with rollout of new security measures (firewalls, EDR solutions).
  • Configure and support basic network setups (e.g., VLANs, VPNs) and conduct operational testing on virtual machines.
  • Gather, define, and implement technical requirements for partner brands, including Janet and Spa Ceylon.


Required Skills & Experience

Platforms & Tools:

  • Experience managing and troubleshooting Shopify stores, including theme configuration, app integrations, and performance tuning.
  • Proficient with remote-access software such as AnyDesk, RustDesk, and TeamViewer for end-user support and diagnostics.
  • Experience in setting up and executing tests within emulators or similar virtualized/mobile testing frameworks.
  • Proficient in basic VM lifecycle operations provisioning, snapshot management (creation & rollback), and testing using VirtualBox or other hypervisor services (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).


Data & Analytics:

  • SQL query writing and database troubleshooting
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Metabase, Super Fetch)

Cloud & Web:

  • Familiarity with AWS or Azure fundamentals (compute, storage, networking)
  • Basic understanding of web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) for quick diagnostics

Security & Networking:

  • Knowledge of firewall technologies, endpoint security, and EDR solutions
  • Hands-on with core network configuration and troubleshooting

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, able to translate technical issues for non-technical teams
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to prompt, clear resolution
