We are on the lookout for an Associate Data Analyst !
Job Role:
- Data extraction, pre-processing and presentation.
- Exploratory data analysis, statistical data modelling and machine learning using tools such as R and Python.
- Data visualization and building dashboards using data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Assist with Data Governance projects, in particular with Data Quality Management projects.
- Liaise with business stakeholders and IT stakeholders to understand the business context and technology background which would be needed in generating insights with data.
- Any other tasks/projects as requested by the Management.
Candidate Requirements:
- Passionate about Sri Lanka; you're committed to making a positive impact for our Country and its people.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields. Candidates with a strong quantitative component in their education are also welcome.
- Candidates with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in data analytics are preferred.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning is required.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, with the ability to simplify and communicate complex data effectively.
- Experience with SQL for querying structured data, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for quick data manipulation, is essential.
