Senior Frontend Engineer (Remote)
Availability: Minimum 2-hour overlap with HQ team (Monday–Friday, 9:30pm–11:30pm IST)
Compensation: Competitive USD salary, based on experience and skill level.
About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior React.js Engineer to join our globally distributed team and play a key role in building the frontend of our modern SaaS platform. This is a hands-on role focused on crafting scalable, data-rich user interfaces that are fast, reliable, and intuitive.
You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers across time zones to deliver features that empower our users and drive business outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain scalable frontend features for a cloud-native SaaS product
- Build responsive, accessible, and reusable UI components using modern frameworks
- Create rich data visualizations and interactive dashboards for analytics
- Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs and handle real-time updates where needed
- Optimize performance through advanced frontend techniques (memoization, lazy loading, etc.)
- Implement and maintain tests to ensure application stability and reliability
- Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and mentoring junior team members
- Collaborate in an Agile environment and deliver work with a high level of ownership
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a senior-level engineer who brings both technical excellence and SaaS product experience. You should be comfortable leading complex frontend development efforts and collaborating across teams.
Key Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in frontend engineering with strong proficiency in React.js and TypeScript
- Experience designing and building modular, responsive UIs for SaaS platforms
- Ability to develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations
- Skilled in integrating and managing RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Strong grasp of performance optimization, caching, and testing practices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, basic understanding of cost metrics, and awareness of DevOps workflows
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote team
Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of server-side rendering (e.g., Next.js)
- Exposure to cloud cost APIs (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer)
- Basic backend understanding (e.g., Node.js, Python)
- Experience working with AI/ML data visualizations
