Your Role and Impact
Supply Chain Optimization
- Analyse transportation networks, warehouse operations and their costs to identify inefficiencies.
- Convert the inefficiencies into mathematical optimisation problems with relevant parameters to optimise delivery routes, carrier selection, space utilisation, etc.
Scenario Modeling & What-If Analysis
- Build scenario models to evaluate changes in supply chain operations (e.g., transport lane changes, where to build a new warehouse).
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for potential operational changes.
Performance Monitoring & Data-Driven Decision Making
- Develop interactive dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to track KPIs for transport and warehousing.
- Provide insights to supply chain managers and senior leadership to support decision-making.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with supply chain and IT teams to enhance operational efficiency.
Your Eligibility
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
Alternatively, a strong logistics/operations background with self-learned data skills.
Including
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, supply chain, logistics, or operations analytics.
- Data Analysis & SQL – Advance skills in Excel, SQL, and Power BI/Tableau for analytics.
- KPI Tracking & Reporting – Experience in creating dashboards to monitor KPIs.
- Problem-Solving & Business Acumen – Ability to formulate a problem statement and split it into packets of workable mini-problems; interpret data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Coding in any programming language.
Your Eligibility will be stronger if
- Logistics & Supply Chain Experience – Understanding of transportation networks, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Python or R – For automation and advanced data modeling.
- Optimization Modeling (Excel Solver, Gurobi, or AnyLogic) – To improve warehouse & transport efficiency.
- Route Optimization (Google OR-Tools, Dijkstra’s algorithm) – For smarter delivery planning.
- Scenario Modeling (What-If Analysis) – Experience with scenario simulation and cost modeling.
- ETL – Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
