Role: AWS DevOps Engineer (Full-Time | Hybrid – Colombo)
We’re seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our hybrid team in Colombo. In this role, you will architect, automate, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of deployments across multiple environments.
Responsibilities
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or Jenkins
• Administer and monitor AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, etc.)
• Optimize infrastructure for performance, availability, and cost-efficiency
• Work in Linux-based environments to manage server configurations and troubleshoot deployments
• Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline deployment workflows
• Maintain DevSecOps best practices, including logging, monitoring, and automated testing
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in AWS DevOps or cloud infrastructure engineering
• Proficiency with AWS services, CI/CD tools, and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience in Linux system administration
• Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, ECS, EKS)
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Solid understanding of networking, DNS, IAM, and security best practices in AWS
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred Or AWS Certification
