Position Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Associate QA Engineer specializing in manual testing to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our fintech mobile application by thoroughly executing test cases and documenting test results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive manual testing of our fintech mobile app to identify software defects.
- Document and track defects accurately, ensuring timely resolution by coordinating with the development team.
- Prepare and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement practices.
- Provide clear, concise, and regular reporting of test status to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of professional experience in manual software testing, preferably on mobile applications.
- Familiarity with fintech products or financial applications is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
- Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work in rotating shifts, including weekends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
