Role Description
This is a project based role for a WordPress Developer located in Sri Lanka. The WordPress Developer will be responsible for managing back-end and front-end development, designing and implementing new features, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of WordPress. Day-to-day tasks include creating responsive themes, customizing plugins, performing routine updates, and troubleshooting errors.
Qualifications
- Experience in Back-End Web Development and managing WordPress databases
- Understanding user-journey and user psychology
- Strong mobile optimization skills
- Proficiency in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Skills in Responsive Web Design to ensure sites are mobile-friendly
- Strong grasp of Web Design principles and practices
- Proficiency in general Web Development tasks and maintaining site health
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
