Looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with developers, fellow QA engineers, and product managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. While the primary focus will be on manual testing, you will also co-ordinate with the automation team to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Critical thinking and strong problem solving abilities are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities
· Execute through manual and API testing for new features, regression cycles, and bug fixes.
· Conduct cross-platform testing (desktop and mobile) to ensure optimal user experience.
· Log and track issues, bugs, and test out comes using JIRA or similar tools.
· Work collaboratively with QA and development teams to enhance testing strategies and overall product quality.
· Support the continuous improvement of testing processes and ensure sufficient test coverage for product releases.
· Perform exploratory testing and validate edge cases to uncover potential issues.
· Participate in test case design, review, and execution based on product requirements.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience (3+ years in QA).
· Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools (e.g., Postman, JIRA) and processes.
· Experience in manual testing of both front-end (web/ mobile) and back-end systems.
· Strong ability to document, prioritize, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
· Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
· Strong attention to detail, patience and a proactive problem-solving approach.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
