The Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computing, Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the above vacancy. This is a contract position for research work for the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computing, Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). Initially, the appointment shall be for 01 Year. The positions may be renewed for a maximum of another 02 (two) years based on performance and need during the work period. We offer this opportunity to a dynamic, enthusiastic graduate with interpersonal and critical thinking skills who has completed their undergraduate research projects in IT, Software Engineering, and Computer Science.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science (IT/Computer Science/Software Engineering) Honors with first- or second-class degree from a recognized University.
• Excellent communication skills in English Language (both written and verbal).
• A sound knowledge in Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing
SALARY AND OTHER CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT:
- POST OF RESEARCH ASSISTANT (ON CONTRACT)
- Basic salary - Rs: 80,000/= p.m
