Job Summary:
MagickTech is seeking a skilled Software Support Engineer to join our IT team in Jaffna. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-level support for enterprise ERP applications, desktop systems, and barcode printer configurations. This role requires a solid foundation in application deployment, remote desktop services, SQL, and Microsoft technologies, with a focus on delivering prompt, high-quality technical support across departments.

Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Any ERP or software support
- Knowledge of O365 Apps and Ms- Office Apps
- Knowledge of RDS connectivity concepts
- Knowledge of SQL queries
- Knowledge of deploying applications in remote PC’s
- Knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting Bar code related to printers and Scanners.
- Knowledge of working in ERP preferable, training will be provided for the same
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server
- Crystal report, SSRS development
Key responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for enterprise-level application systems.
- Respond to general questions and trouble tickets in a timely manner.
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify potential solutions for how to resolve an issue.
- Prioritize multiple, open issues.
- Document issue triage as troubleshooting progresses.
- Maintain service reports.
- Document actionable bugs for resolution.
- Will be first level of contact for any ERP support.
- Responsible for deployment of applications in Remote PCs of the user.
- Maintain awareness of new technologies and contribute to IT technology standards
- Create, change, and delete user accounts per request in ERP.
- Provide support as per request from various departments.
- Coordinate and communicate with impacted departments.
Qualifications & Experience):
- Degree or equivalent with a technical major. Software knowledge with Crystal Report & SSRS, ERP application.
- 3-5 years of experience
