Job Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive the development of our two-sided marketplace platform as a key individual contributor. You’ll design and build features using React, React Native, Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, and more while leveraging the latest AI tools to enhance functionality and user experience. This role is ideal for a self-starter with deep expertise in marketplace dynamics and a passion for delivering scalable, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features for a two-sided marketplace, addressing the needs of both user groups using React and React Native.
• Integrate Supabase (PostgreSQL, real-time APIs, storage) to manage data flows between marketplace participants, ensuring seamless interactions.
• Deploy and optimize applications on Vercel, maintaining fast, reliable performance for both web and mobile users.
• Build secure payment systems with Stripe, supporting subscriptions, one-time bookings, and payouts tailored to a marketplace model.
• Incorporate the latest AI tools (e.g., recommendation systems, automation, or analytics) to improve platform efficiency, personalization, or user engagement.
• Write clean, maintainable code as a strong individual contributor, delivering robust solutions with minimal oversight.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to refine marketplace features, ensuring a cohesive experience across both sides of the platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges unique to two-sided marketplaces, such as supply-demand balancing or real-time updates.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record as a strong individual contributor.
• Hands-on experience building and scaling two-sided marketplaces with an understanding of dual-user workflows and dynamics.
• Expertise in React and React Native, delivering responsive, high-performance web and mobile applications.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality code that supports both sides of a marketplace.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for creating scalable, user-centric solutions
