Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Axinom is looking for a Senior QA Engineer with 4+ years of experience in both manual and automated testing to join our innovative team. As a Senior QA, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our media/entertainment and cloud products by creating and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies. You will work closely with Developers, Architects and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality software that meets customer requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing to ensure product quality.
• Perform manual testing to identify and log defects across functional, regression, and exploratory test scenarios.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Collaborate with the development team to review requirements and design specifications or tickets to identify potential risks and ensure test coverage.
• Identify, log, and track defects with with providing clear and concise bug reports.
• Conduct performance testing, load testing, and security testing when required.
• Provide regular status reports on testing progress, coverage, and test results.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders for issue tracking and resolution.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance with both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in manual testing methodologies (functional, regression, system, exploratory).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.
• Adaptability to new technologies.

BENEFICIAL SKILLS:

• Experience in setting up and maintaining a test automation suite.
• Familiarity with GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of React and NodeJS.
• Experience working with Playwright, Selenium or Cypress
• Exposure to performance testing (e.g., JMeter) or security testing (e.g., OWASP ZAP).
• Experience with Linux systems.
• Experience with CI systems (e.g., Azure Pipelines, Jenkins).
• Higher education in IT.
